Brake Disc CNC Grinder machining case
How does the brake disc CNC grinder CMFK-LS500 process brake discs?
The CMFK-LS500 brake disc CNC grinder uses a dual-channel control system for processing control; with a dual-column structure, the tool and grinding head can move independently, allowing for efficient rough and precision turning and direct grinding after double brake surface processing, resulting in higher efficiency. The high-rigidity spindle operation and three-jaw hydraulic chuck provide reliable clamping force. The grinding head is equipped with an eight-position hydraulic turret and can be equipped with an independent servo Y-axis. The machine uses multiple linear roller guides imported from abroad to enhance the large slider feed structure, ensuring high transmission efficiency and accurate positioning. The machine weighs over eight and a half tons, resulting in higher rigidity. The workpiece turning diameter is 500mm, expanding the range of machinable products.
The brake disc CNC grinder is designed with usability in mind, and its proximity to the spindle or worktable is excellent, making it easier to position workpieces, adjust fixtures, and replace tools, greatly reducing machine downtime. The CNC system uses a liquid crystal display servo control system, along with tool compensation, manual/automatic return to reference point, and automatic diagnostic monitoring display functions, achieving true machine tool integration and automation.
The vertical guide rail structure, column, base, and slide are all made of high-grade gray cast iron, and the guide rail surfaces of the column and slide are subjected to high-frequency quenching, while the moving surfaces of the guide rail are coated with plastic to ensure long-term stability and accuracy. The X/Y axis uses precision ball screws with high-precision double nut preload, and the lock-pull design of the support seats at both ends can eliminate transmission backlash and pre-compensate for errors caused by temperature rise, ensuring positioning accuracy. The automatic centralized lubrication system ensures continuous and effective lubrication of the guide rails and ball screws, ensuring extended service life.
The method of grinding both sides of the brake disc mainly involves turning the two end faces of the brake disc, and the final grinding is only for the surface grooves of the brake disc, producing intersecting mesh patterns. Equipped with a high-quality vertical servo tool holder, it is rigid, quick to change tools, and reliable. The bed slope adopts a design with vertical and large oblique angles, which is convenient for iron chips to slide into the chip removal box groove and effectively suppresses the practical impact of the heat generated by iron chips on the overall machine tool.
The CMFK-LS500 brake disc CNC grinder is a lathe with both turning and grinding functions. The machine is equipped with a high-automatic loading and unloading logistics mechanism that crosses the machine, enabling fully automatic production and can complete two-sided turning at once. It is suitable for the processing of disc-type parts such as brake drums, brake discs, wheels, transmission wheels, engine end covers, hubs, transmission gears, snap rings, pulleys, etc. in the automotive and parts industries.
